There is so much going on in The Palace Job that you definitely don't get bored, but you also don't have much chance to really get to know the characters and the plot gets muddy and confusing at times. Patrick Weekes is a writer for BioWare's 'Mass Effect' games which include a grim and gritty storyline underscored with humour, dark and light, and incredible humanity. So, the fact his characters in ' The Palace Job' all feel very real is no surprise, neither. ― Patrick Weekes, quote from The Palace Job "And as Bi'ul leaped at him, a shimmering prism of rage, Dairy swung. The world went black for one long moment, and there was only the sound of glass breaking, a glass containing all the oceans in the world, and those oceans held back the fires of a thousand suns, and it all burst forth in one.
